Construction Inspection
Many mold related issues are a result of certain construction practices and
the characteristics of the materials used. We are available during the course of construction to discuss potential problems
or answer questions regarding mold in the construction process.
Building houses during the rainy season in Oregon increases
the risk of developing mold issues in the future. This is especially true when OSB products are used and exposed to water.
We
can perform moisture surveys during the course of construction and provide the builder with documentation to certify appropriate
moisture content before installation of insulation, etc.
Samples of any discoloration on wood or other surfaces which
might send up a red flag to potential buyers can be tested to confirm whether it is something that needs to be addressed before
the project continues.
This allows the builder to provide the purchaser with documentation that proper steps were followed
during construction to ensure a mold and fungus free home. |
